We are a family run, small business, based out of Delaware, Ohio, but we do most of our business in the greater Columbus area. I am Dylan, or Dyl, and I am the Chef and Founder of Dylicious. I do most of the cooking and baking, while my brilliant wife, Alina, helps me plan and organize events and tasks. We have a beautiful, healthy son, another little on the way, and cooking nourishing, delicious food is an integral part of our lives. We also love growing our own food, from garden vegetables to microgreens, to edible mushrooms. Many of the herbs and microgreens we grow are used in our dishes here at Dylicious, and we intend on increasing our harvest each year to eventually be able to source all of our food from our own gardens and livestock.
I have been cooking professionally for over a decade and I received my Culinary Arts Degree and Certified Sous Chef Certificate from Columbus State Community College in 2018. I have worked every role in the kitchen, from dishwasher to Executive Chef, and have experience in Steakhouse, Asian Fusion, Seafood, Italian, and Mexican restaurants. Through experience, the best way for me to express myself through cooking is to source my own fresh and local products, and craft my own recipes. As a bonus, our business gives my family time together and freedom to continue to feed our passions and work towards our goals. Thank you for being a part of our journey, we are so happy to be here.
Being enticed by the sights, sounds, smells, tools, and craft, my love for cooking started at a very young age. Always wanting to help my mom in the kitchen, I asked my parents to put me in cooking classes at 10 years old.
We strive to integrate the knowledge of health is wealth behind our cooking. By making conscious choices, limiting waste, staying in balance with nature, planting food from seed, learning the medicinal value of mushrooms, herbs, and food abound, we keep health at the center of what we do.
